I always clean the herb from all stems and if you like just rub it between fingers and it will fluff up very nice. A bit of water is good for making it smoother (if stored long time sealed then a bit of propyleneglycol (~1%) would avoid molding). When the taste gets boring just use a bit flavouring, tasty puff is nice for example, when using natural or "from the kitchen"-flavours always look up if it is safe when smoked. If you like Blends you could mix it with damiana and/or marshmallow leaves.
