How long before gaps start to close once you get your braces My gaps are about 3 mm and I get my braces today I'm 28 years old does this mean it will take longer or will be quicker?

this is what my dentist said to me... ' a teenagers skeleton will change roughly every 3 months then you get into your twenties your skeleton changes every 3 years.' so yes it will take longer, but for 3mm which isn't that much it will take some time before you see any difference
