The car can remain impounded until a judge orders it released, or the owner proves that there was no violation. Even then there may be towing and storage charges. If left long enough the car can be auctioned to satisfy towing and storage expenses.
It will be impounded until you pay the fines and fees involved. Be careful because you will probably be charged a storage fee for every day you leave it in the impound lot.
it is usually about 30 days depending on how much beer he has and how drunk he is.
Your license will be suspended until you pay the ticket. Once you do that, the court will clear the ticket and reinstate your license with the DMV.
As a driver, if you refuse this test, your driver license may be suspended for 180 days.
As long as the courts decide it should be suspended for. Add three years to the suspension period before anyone will hire you as a CDL driver again.
There is no grace period provided for expiration of a license. It is no longer valid after the expiration date.
Depends on where it happens. In California, the vehicle can be forfeited (as in taken forever) if the person driving it has a prior for driving without a license.
Yes, as long as you are not suspended for Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Depends how bad you were caught for
Yep. What did you think a 'suspended license' meant? Did you think it was okay to drive as long as you didn't get caught. I sure hope it was your car you were driving.

They can suspend your driving privilege in the state of Oklahoma, meaning that, if they do this, and you're caught driving in Oklahoma on any license, it'll be treated as you driving on a suspended license. As for actually suspending the license, they can request that the state of Texas suspend it, and the state of Texas will make the call as to whether they comply or not.
Your license will be suspended in the state of Illinois for 6 months, if you are 17 years old and have 2 tickets for driving too fast and 1 for not using your turn signal. Your licenses are suspended for safety reasons.
I moved from NJ in 1988, when I was stopped for a minor violation in GA in 2010 I was told that NJ had just suspended my license for a 1986 ticket. Conveniently they had notified GA DMV< but not me, so my GA license was also suspended. I was jailed and my car impounded. It took 6 months, a $2000 lawyer and a ton of phone calls and letters to find out that the only ticket I ever had in NJ was paid long ago and I didn't have any 1986 ticket nor any reason for a suspended license. Meanwhile, I was out the money and since I couldn't get to work out of a job. Oh, NJ apologized for the error. So, basically NJ does what it wants when it wants no matter what.
