There is no specific time limit for the entire test. There are nine separate sections in the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery); each with its own time limit:
- General Science (GS) - 11 minutes
- Arithmetic Reasoning (AR) - 36 minutes
- Word Knowledge (WK) - 11 minutes
- Paragraph Comprehension (PC) - 13 minutes
- Auto & Shop (AS) - 11 minutes
- Mathematics Knowledge (MK) - 24 minutes
- Mechanical Comprehension (MC) - 19 minutes
- Electronics Information (EI) - 9 minutes
- Assembling Objects (AS) - 9 minutes
