It usually takes about a week if it has to be ORDERED by your orthodontist, but can be 24 hours, if it is MADE by your orthodontist.
either about 4-6mounths but always wear them when you go to be from annoymouse user
i don't know right now because i have them right now with my braces so i am guessing about soon after four weeks
a few days
If you don't wear your retainer, your teeth won't start to shift until about a week from when you stopped wearing it.
umm not sure u can...i would just take my retainer off.
they won't shift back, they take a while to do that. it took my brother's about 3 months for his to shift cause he didnt wear his retainer
It will probably take 2 years if it's in the correct position, and it's aligned pretty much perfect! But you're not done yet aster you had just taken of your braces you will have to wear a positioner or a retainer. A positioner will help you keep your new aligned teeth into place. So you won't have to suffer crooked teeth again! A retainer is very common. You will get a retainer after you get your braces. (OR) you can where it after the positioner, but you don't have to unless needed! The retainer will securely holds the teeth into it's new place. You have to wear during the night. the orthodontist will tell you when to put on you appliance and when to take off. finally at the end after you have worn your braces, postioner, or retainer it will probably take 3 years to have a perfect beautiful smile! CHEESE!
Yes wear the retainer trust me it's worth it.. Your teeth will shift otherwise..
No you only get a retainer.
You should never take your retainer out for more than a day! Wearing your retainer everyday(whether it be daytime or night) keeps your teeth in place. Even if you go a few days without wearing one and you put it in, your teeth will feel very tight because they have shifted already. Everyday you don't have it on, your teeth move more and more. Word of advise: WEAR YOUR RETAINER!
yes, yes you can as long as you sterilze it
All retainers should be cleaned properly. You can clean your retainer with a toothbrush, however, we advise using specialized retainer cleaner (or denture cleaner). When brushing and flossing, fixed retainers should be cleaned as well. Additionally, we advise against washing your retainer in hot water to expose it to extreme heat as this could cause the retainer to stretch into a different form.
See, What will a retainer do.
I've had my Tragus pierced for around 3 years now but I'm not allowed it in for work - how long will it take to close up? I have breaks every 2 hours and was thinking of just putting the bar back in every break but would this irritate it? Thanks! Yes, replacing it that often will definitely irritate it. Are you allowed to wear a retainer? You can get a clear glass lip retainer and it'll hide it pretty well. There isn't a way to tell how long you can leave it out. It depends on your body.
