the true answer is a cucumber can turn into a pickle in at least 2 days at least.
you need to first ugh, me kindada forgoted da ansers
It takes 24 hours to pickle a cucumber... bread and butter pickles(Refrigerated) are really easy to make... For a gallon of bread and butter pickles use
10 Medium cucumbers sliced to your preference
4 Cups of Distilled White Vinegar
3 Cups of Sugar
1 Cups of Kosher Salt
1 1/2 Tea spoon of Turmeric
1 Tea Spoon of Mustard Seed
1 Tea Spoon of Celery Seed
3 Medium Sweet Onions
Slice cucumbers to your liking. Put sliced cucumbers in a gallon bucket, or a gallon jar. Alternate Layers of cucumbers and onion. When done combining cucumber and onion start mixing your liquids and spices(Vinegar, Kosher Salt, Turmeric, Mustard seed, Celery Seed, Sugar). Poor liquid on top of cucumber and onion mix. Stir Frequently throughout the whole process. When done KEEP them in refrigerator, stirring them frequently throughout the 24 hour period. KEEP refrigerated at ALL times. Enjoy:)
It depends of watering, sunlight, and temperature of soil, but under the right conditions, anywhere from 4-20 days. The trick to getting cucumbers to come up fast - and grow rapidly - is to have the patience to wait until the soil is really warm - 72 degrees or better. Then they'll be up in 5-6 days, and grow vigorously. It may be two weeks later than you'd prefer to get them in - but they'll grow fast enough to make up the difference. You gain NOTHING by planting cucumbers when the soil is still cool - they take a long time to sprout, and grow slowly until the soil is really warm.
It depends on what you are pickling most of the time stuff can take from 3 weeks to 9 weeks.
2 days or 46 hours
28 days
NO. A pickle is a pickled cucumber. :P so yeah. they are! Though technically anything that has been pickled (soaked in a brine or vinegar solution for long keeping) is a called a pickled. but in layman's terms a pickle is a cucumber.
No, a pickle is a cucumber that has been soaked in vinegar for a long period of time. If you intend to make pickles, grow cucumbers.
Yes, they are. Cucumbers soak in vinegar and become pickles. after a long time Answer Pickles and cucumbers are not the same thing. A cucumber is a fruit that can be pickled, so becomes a pickled cucumber or a cucumber pickle. There are many fruits and vegetables that can be pickled so to identify them correctly you need to name the item pickled.
If you keep it in there for a long time a pickle will come to your house while your sleeping and beats up the cucumber and shoots it with its ray gun and it vaporizes then the pickle jumps in to the jar and makes you think that the cucumber pickled.
I'm not sure but I know you should put them into hot pickle juice. I think it would take 1-2 weeks to pickle.
Pickled meat is meat that has been soaked in a vinegar solution long enough to preserve it and give it a pickled taste.
I do believe that cucumbers are soaked in vinigar for a lonnggg time and after the long while a pickle is made :D
Pickling is done using either brine (salt), or vinegar (acid). Either salty or acid environment is unfriendly to most bacteria, hence food does not spoil.
It depends on how long it is in the vinegar but the egg will lose a layer of its skin and become very fragile. It will also become bouncy. Why not trie it!!!!
my little pickle had a pickle that named his pickle pickle. pickle walked for a long pickle and then pickled. pickle was pickled, so he pickled. then he woke up and realized he was a dookie and not a pickle.
"Refrigerator pickles" haven't been processed in a cannery. Rather, they were left in a fridge or freezer after being made according to a traditional recipe. They have a weaker brine and don't last as long compared to canned pickles, which don't even require refrigeration.
How big a dill pickle and how many seeds does it contain? Is the monkey using his wooden leg to kick with or as the stationary one? ACTUALLY A CUCUMBER (or a pickle) DEFINATLY HAS SEEDS INSIDE OF IT !!! The Cucumber is a fruit and a member of the cucurbitaceous family. Like melon, squash and pumpkins, it is very high in water and very low in calories and an excellent source of potassium, vitamin C and folic acid.^^^^^ yup yup das true it has these little greenish baby green smalll seeds inside thembtw, wuts a dill pickle hs/she sed dill pikle not pickle like da food thing oneWell as I understand it, it's the DILL plant that makes the pickles a Dill pickle. The seeds, stems and /or sprigs of the Dill weed are added to the pickling brine during the pickling process.OK.....a dill pickle is a pickled cucumber.....a cucumber is a vegetable....vegetables have no SEEDS!!!!!!!!! hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually vegetables do have seedsmy god u guys... this is supposed to be a joke... dont over think it sooooo much!!!!just a point but the guy who knows all about cucumbers says that its a fruit :) and veggys don't have seeds. i suppose if its a thin wooden leg and the dill pickle pickled cucumber dill thing is on its side then the monkey could kick through the middle length ways where all the seeds are. if the monkey goes to the gym often his kick shouldn't take long to go straight through the cucumber. so the real question is how the monkey gets the cucumber off his wooden leg after he kicked the seeds out of it.
