As long as it takes!....And the less you use it, the sooner it will heal! I know that sounds trifle, but it depends on many things; age, lifestyle, health and diet. Speaking for myself-Male, 46 years of age- I like doing pushups. One morning I didn't properly warm up and pulled a ligament in the right shoulder. I had to surrender doing pushups for 2 weeks. In the mean time; no alcohol, caffeine, smoking or red meat, and avoid as much as possible using that arm during the duration. You should begin gentle stretching exercises with that arm after 3 days of noticing the pain-(only if the pain is slight!), if it's more than slight- see a doctor! A hot shower twice a day with the water focused on that area should be repeated during the healing process. Use an ice pack only if you know your not going to be using that arm-and especially before you go to bed- no more than 15 minutes. Give it at least 2 weeks! Go to the vitamin store and get 50 mg of Hyaluronic Acid,(a connective tissue component) and 250 mg of L-Glutathione,(Protectant for muscle and oxidative stress), and be vigilant with your diet-the more fruits and vegetables, the better! Berries are excellent for a pro-active defense against oxidant invaders-and fresh spinach is full of iron, which helps build the muscle. Then- (if your a weight lifter you need more time! Give it a month, but start isometrics, If your an exerciser aficionado like myself), begin with easy exercises again- BUT ONLY if the pain has subsided! If after 2 weeks the pain is still there-(before beginning the work out regime), you should see a doctor! You may have more than just a pulled muscle!
I am still in the process of healing after a minor shoulder muscle injury after Snowboarding. However, it has been a long 12 days and it feels much better than before, but I cannot participate on upper body (right shoulder) required sports. I play volleyball and I am so bummed that I can't play for my middle school team this year because try-outs are in 6 days. I don't think it'll be good by then. But one thing I do regret is not keeping it still in an arm sling instead of trying to move it in great motion. Do not try anything extreme with your injury! Even trying to serve a ball! Massage your shoulder where it hurts and stretch to a mininmun level after like a week or so when your comfortable making small movements. Hope that helps!
I dislocated my shoulder and it took me about 6 months before i could use it somewhat normal. the year after that it would still hurt but now its fine. ligament injuries take a lot of time to heal. i can not stress this enough FOLLOW THE REHAB EXERCISES!! it will knock a fair bit of time off the recovery period. i have dislocated my shoulder like 7 times it has been like 4 years since the first time and it never stopped hurting, it kept getting reinjured. i am 14 and will probobally be getting a pin in my shoulder in the next year. do as the doctor says!
The process can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks to heal depending on age, health, and any previous injury to the shoulder.
The recovery time for a shoulder injury can vary depending on how serious the injury is. It could take a few days or a few weeks depending on the severity.
Two to three months. It all depends on how badly the bone has been broken.
around 6 weeks
how long does it take to heal a broken femur? it has been a year and still not normal is this the norm?
The amount of time it will take for a broken neck to completely heal will vary with each person. The broken neck could take a few months to heal, a few years, or in some cases, never.

depending what kind of fracture and severity it can take 5-10 weeks
Rodents, unlike most mammals cannot heal broken bones.
My German Shorthaired pointer also has a shoulder sprain, and it can take 2 - 4 weeks for it to heal. I recommend to help them rehabilitate it gentle massage on the sprain, frozen peas to chill it, and gentle movement. Do this after the first week. But do scheduale a check up if possible to make sure there is no serious damage. Hope this helps.
It depends on your age, health and how bad the break is. Mine broke completely in half, it was somewhat functional at around 6 weeks, and 100% at 8 weeks.
it depends on your age and the severity of your break but it can be from 4 weeks - 10
Depends how bad usually a few days to a week
