It depends on your soil type, fertilization, growing season type or cultavar of peach and location (what zone you are in ) . I am in zone 8-A here in Washington and have 12 peach trees. My 'Frost' trees took 3 years to bare , 'Elberta' only 2 and my 'Redhaven' two of them took 3 years and the rest took 4 and one even took 5 years to bare. I had almost given up on the late bloomer but as of today 07jun09 it has twice as many peaches as the other 'Redhaven'

I have recently Planted quite a few peach trees myself, so I have been doing a great amount of research on this peticular subject. I have come to the conclution that it will take a peach tree 2-5 years to bear fruit, and maybe a little more. He tree will grow rapidly it's first couple Of years, having only 10 fruits or so, and will produce more and more until it has stop growing. In other words, you may have up to 100lbs of peaches! (and that's just for 1 tree.) A peach tree can live up to be 30-50 years old, so you will have peaches for a lifetime depending on your age, or the peaches will fall to the ground and have more peach trees. But as I said before, it depends on the soil and climate type for the length of time it takes your peaches to grow. Good luck!!:)

That varies according to location and the type of care during its life. In cold areas, a tree may only live for ten to fifteen years whereas in a warmer climate it can live up to fifty years. Their health will decline though.

It all depends on the health of the tree and proper thinning of fruits to get larger fruit. but to generalize , on a mature peach tree can get 2 to 3 bushels . A bushle for peaches is 50 lbs. depending on fruit size 60 to 80 peaches per bushel. So I guess between 180 an 240 peaches.
