Poison Ivy usually last two to three weeks. I've had it for two weeks and four days and it's clearing up now. (it's got the crusty look) Don't think it will go away in no time. Medicines and Lotions help the itch but do not speed up the healing process!
Here are some FACTS.
Poison ivy CAN'T be spread by scratching or from the puss that comes out of the rash during the healing process! - (People seem to think it can because they get break outs one day and some more the next! this is because when you come in contact with poison ivy the urushiol oils take longer to get into thicker parts of the skin then in thinner parts.)
urushiol oils can stay on clothes and tools that have come in contact with poison ivy! what ever you wore or used when you came in contact with poison ivy needs to be washed well! if you don't wash them you can risk getting more urushiol oils on your skin! (wash clothes in bleach and separate from other clothes just to be sure)
Tips
Try to avoid hot showers, since steam opens your pours it can be painful to your rashes.
Items at home that can relieve itchiness, Rubbing alcohol, White vinegar, baking soda paste, and ice packs are what i used and helped the itching allot!
benadryl before bed, helps you sleep and itching.
Don't scratch it can cause infection! you have bacteria under your finger nails!
Poison ivy reactions can begin to appear within just a few hours after contact with the plant, depending on the sensitivity of the individual. Contact with affected animals, clothing or from burning plants may cause similar reactions. It may be helpful to cleanse the skin immediately after being in the woods, before blisters appear. The oily urushiol from these plants causes contact dermatitis, and several products are available on the market to be used after suspected exposure. Soap and water alone may be insufficient to remove this substance from the skin, so many products also contain a base of petroleum distillates to emulsify the oil from the skin surface. A less expensive alternative may be made at home by combining equal parts of liquid detergent with a product like GooGone or bug/tar remover, and using this with warm water in a shower. This is followed by a regular shower with soap alone to remove the residues of the petroleum distillates and urushiol. In children under 2 years old, only soap and warm water should be used. Benadryl (diphendydramine) creams or lotions applied afterwards will help reduce the itching after exposure.
after exposure it can take up to 72 hours for the rash to show up, wash everything you have come in contact with and go see dermatologist immediately if you are prone to bad allergic reactions. they will give you step down doses of prednisone. i know people dig quick fixes like a shot but see if you can get both because the shot will work its way out of your system before all the spots you have it on you have popped up

In the case of benign tumors excision, chemical treatment or simple observation may be a route to treatment. For cancerous tumors the normal treatments of radiation, removal or chemotherapy may be attempted. There is no guaranteed cure for either type.

Humans have always known how to cure illnesses. Except we used to be careful before not to get them in the first place. Some 'diseases' are new and so their treatments have to be new too - like all diseases that are brought about by stress and unnatural living (DEPRESSION for example.)
There is no cure for asbestosis currently; however, there are several treatments one may take to fight the symptoms. Oxygen therapy is used to aid in breathing with asbestosis. One may engage in respiratory physiotherapy to aid in problems with the lungs. Unfortunately, there is no long-term cure for asbestosis.
At least 15 to 24 hours to fully cure.
