Impossible to answer. You need to have a Hvac pro, furnace man, do a heat calculation

of you home and see if the BTU rating of your house matches the furnace supplied in it.

Now even with a computer generated heat calc, there are way to many things in the home

to come up with a perfect answer.

You should not turn up and down the thermostat in your home from day to night, the walls and furniture cool and then it takes longer to get them back to temp, its better to leave it on one temp.

How big a house will a 75000 btu furnace heat?

Heat load calculations need to be conducted for home to determine the proper size furnace. There is no simple answer to this question. There are a number of factors that can effect what size your furnace should be. Example: square footage, duct work size, insulation factors, windows etc. I recommend having a heating professional look at your home and conduct a heat load calculation. Over sized and under sized furnaces can cause you number out problems in the long run.

Why is Heat still coming out of floor-type heater floor furnace for the home?

it will heat as long as the gas is on and your pilot is still lit, you would have to call your gas company to turn it off.

How hot does a gas fired heat exchanger get?

There are specific values for heat rise across a furnace heat exchanger given in all installation/operation manuals for all furnaces. As long as these limits are adhered to by the installer the heat exchanger will not overheat. I know this does not answer the question but there is no one blanket answer for all furnaces. Basically the more airflow through the furnace, the lower the HX temp and to determine when the airflow is correct a heat rise test is done and the airflow is set to the mid point of that specification.

Is a second thermostat for trane furnace wired in parallel with original to same terminals?

I am guessing by the question you want either of these stats to be able to start the furnace, without using a relay. As long as you are using the same control power supply for both the answer is yes. Use the same connections on both if that is what you are trying to do.

Can furnace filters be reused?

Yes they can. Furnace filters help to divert dust and keep your furnace and air conditioning coil clean. As long as it doesn't break, a furnace filter can be reused.

Which type of heating system to install in my home Heat pump or gas furnace and ac unit?

That will depend on the cost (and availability) of gas in your area, when compared to electric costs. It will also depend on the climate. At very cold temperatures (below 40 F) the heat transfer element of an air/Freon heat pump does not deliver heat, and the less efficient electric heat kicks in. In a climate that has long periods of below-freezing temps, a gas furnace may be more economical to operate.

How long does 4 inches of oil last in a 500 gallon oil tank?

How long does 4 inches of oil last in a 500 gallon oil tank? It will last forever unless someone removes it...! If you mean "How long will 4 Inches of oil last in the tank if you are using it to heat your house", that would be very difficult to answer as different furnaces will consume different amounts of oil, just like cars consume different amounts of fuel.. And, the colder it is outside, the more the furnace will run so It would consume the fuel faster.

If your home requires 2 million Btu of heat energy from the furnace what is the cost in dollars to heat the house with natural gas assuming 60 percent furnace efficiency?

If your home actually requires the 2MM btu then that is the output you need, if your furnace is 60% efficient then you would need 3,333,333 btu input to produce 2,000,000 btu output, There are 1000 btu per cubic foot of natural gas therfore you would burn 3333 cubic feet of gas to produce 2MM btu. Your question cannot be answered here because I don`t know what you pay per cubic foot of ng nor did you give a time frame for how long you plan on heating the house. But now you know the figures and you can do the math.

How much wood does a wood furnace use?

AnswerIt depends on how large your house is, and how well your wood stove works. We have a 1,200-sq.-ft. home and we burned about 3 cords of wood. It is a brand-new stove, and we're still learning how to use it. Also, use wood that doesn't burn fast.Answer It also depends on what type of wood you use. If you use a light wood -- such as pine -- it catches alight quickly, but also burns out quickly. If you use a heavy, condensed wood -- such as olive -- it takes much longer to catch alight, but once it burns, it does so for a long time. Answer I used wood heat exclusively last winter. I have hot-water baseboard heat powered by a multi-fuel furnace (not exclusively a wood stove). We operated the furnace for about 5 months continuously using mixed hardwoods. My house is about 1,200 square feet, and we went through 22 face cords through the winter, at a cost of about $1,100.

Is it possible for a two ton heat pump to hold seven pounds of freon?

Yes, depending on how long the lines are. The unit should have a sticker showing the unit's charge, then you have to figure the lines and the coils in the furnace.

How many people it take to melt a silver?

I'm not sure you understand what the term "melting" means. It only takes one person to melt silver, so long as you have a furnace that can heat it to 1,763 degrees.
