It really depends on how long it will do what you wanted it to. Some people have gotten a few extra years out of an old computer by switching to a less demanding operating system such as Ubuntu.
10 years
A good computer could last for years, even decades. Most are well made and put together to last a long time. The problem is not how long will the computer last; it's how long before it becomes obsolete. Newer, better computers are being invented and sold all the time. A compute might only be a top of the line, best in it's field for a year or two, before the newer models can do stuff, the older models could never do. Computers made in the 1980s are probably still working today, however computers made in the 1980s can not do as much stuff, as fast as the computers made in 2010.
Around 2-3 years depending on how you take care of it.
If you don't break it, it will last 3 years.
With all laptops, it will heat its self to death, especially if you run games of performance demanding programs.
It's my opinion that a Desk Top would be a better option.
You will get better performance and it will last longer.
Then when the technology changes you can easily upgrade the hardware, when a laptop needs to be replaced.
Depends, clean it out every week be careful with viruses and it should last 2 or 3 years. If not maybe 1 and a 1/2 or 2 1/2 yeArs. I had my first one for four years! Like I said its how you treat it :) and also kind of what brand you get :)
It really comes down to quality, time, and luck. No computer is going to last forever. However, custom built computers can lost for a long time, seeing as they can be upgraded, and the builder has the final selection on what parts they buy. Prebuilt computers can last a while as well, however, they have a higher chance of breaking, due to the fact that a lot of brands cut corners in order to maintain lower prices.
Laptops will probably least the least amount of time, when they break they can not be upgraded, and they usually suffer more abuse than desktops (Dropping, spilling, etc)
I'd say a decent built PC can last you anywhere from 4-8 years if you upgrade it correctly.
Same with a prebuilt PC, as long as it's upgradable.
Most laptops have a tech. curve of around 2-4 years.
all most your whole life ,but if you don't take care of it then probably not your whole life just about several years until you break it
A computer Can Die Within Minutes, However, The Money you lost is forever.
3-5 years
laptop should last about 5 years, a computer about 7
The average life for a laptop battery is between 3 to 4 hoursand sometimes even less than 3 hours.
I did not locate a solar panel laptop itself, but there are solar panel laptop charger for the laptop battery. these will last many years and substitute for buying a laptop battery every year.
After charging laptop it will 3 to 4 hours backup
Until JUST AFTER the warranty runs out.
Having the laptop checked for viruses and seeing if the laptop is up to date. Also to see how long your laptop can last. At OfficeMax they check any computer for free.
i just got this laptop, and i wanted to know how long the battery will last?
The average laptop is about $500-$1000
About 11 minutes
A leather laptop case will last a very long time. I think at least 10-15 years. They are durable as long as you don't spill or get it wet.
Sure. Mine has lasted about 6 years so far. They often last as long as the laptop unless they get broken. I'm sure that certain brands are bad, but it isn't a normal thing for them to die unless you drop your laptop.
It usually last two or three years. Then you should change for a new one.
