In the WWI Portugal entred the war along with his ally England,and fought many wars. In the WWII Portugal under the dictatorship of Salazar remained Neutral but in 1943 accepet that all planes of the U.S to resuplie in azores(that was in the middle of the Atlantic ocean) and than to pass over portugal to east europe. So yes Portugal gave many things to the world.But now we are only watching others to thier part now.we must concentrat in growing again, and we will remain in History as a great small nation who never let anyone take over us. France did not punish Germany with the treaty. The Treaty of Versailles was the punishment France and other countries doled out on Germany. It was an unfair treatment in the long run. They failed to see the real reason for the start of the war was the fault of the Austrian and Hungarian people not the Germans.
