A 25 year old female who currently weights 130 and is 5'2'' needs approximately 1290 to survive. This is the basal metabolic rate (according to a calculator I've found. The calculator tends to be fairly accurate from what I've read). Calorie intake will vary depending on male or female, active or nonactive, age, how much you currently weight and so on.

For example, a 5'4" female weighing 126 pounds, who is moderately active, should have about 2,200 calories per day if she is from age 19 to 25; about 2,000 calories if she is age 26 to 50; and about 1800 calories after age 50.
