There is no way of knowing, serial numbers were not always used on firearms & tracking is really based on sales & is left up to the retailers. Hundreds of thousands of "now" antique military firearms were brought back as war trophies or just to keep their trusty war companion at home with them & many are not documented except for the few thousand registered full automatics that were amnestied.
