At an average 60 mph, one can travel 1440 miles in a 24-hour day. We don't recommend it.

If five men can dig five tunnels in five days then how many tunnels can one man dig in one day?*One man would be able to dig 1/5 of a tunnel in one day*
One day if your journey is 30 miles. Ten days if your journey is 300 miles. Two days if your journey is 60 miles.
One mile.
Average 500. If you dirve less than 500 miles on any one day, you have to make it up on another day. But the average has to be 500 per day.
The UP record was 10 miles in a day. The usual was 3. On the CP it was often less than one.
