It depends . Theoretically and mathematically the standard JPG100 (100% quality and 24 bit per pixel) at 6 Millions Pixels (100% quality and 24 bit per pixel) has 1.6 MB so your 2 GB card will contain approx. 1250 photos.
With a current model camera you'd probably be looking at 300-400, but the lower the Mega Pixels of the camera, the more pics you'll get on the card. More pixels (dots) in the pic means more space taken up on the card for each photo. Older cameras (if they accept a 2Gb card) might get 1000+ photos because they take a lower resolution photo.
There is not an exact number for this. See related link.
About 500 depending on specfic camera though, dslrs require more space than point n shoots.
A 10-megapixel camera however will be able to store approximately 650 pictures on a 2 GB memory card.
How many pictures can a 2 gb memory card hold at 3.2 megapixels?
A lot! Honestly, with some good quality, anywhere from 2,500-10,000
Because that is a very small memory card.
a S___ load.
Photos tend to average out at around 1mb per 3 megapixels. So on a 10 megapixel camera, you're looking at about 3.5 megabyte per picture. In short, you'll get around four at your camera's highest quality setting. The short version: Get a bigger card. 1gb+ SD and CF cards are cheap enough that there's no reason to bother with tiny cards like this.
It is recommended with a camera that is this sharp you have a minimum of a 1 gigabyte memory card. On this card you can fit approximately 56 pictures depending on the lighting and subject involved.
The number of photos that can be held depends entirely upon what quality you wish to shoot the pictures at. A 5 megapixel camera, at maximum resolution, probably won't hold many photos. (25-30) As the resolution increases, the number of photos that can be held decreases exponentially. At a lower quality (say 640 by 480) you can hold between 1000 and 3000 photos on a 256 mb camera, depending upon the compression.
You can save photos, videos, or other digital data on an 8GB sd memory card. The 8GB is simply the amount of information that the memory card can hold.
The higher your megapixel , the more memory a picture would take up.With 12mp you would probbably hold 5-10 picturesI would recommend using a memory card with at least 1GBof memory.
An average 10 megapixel JPEG* image will be about 4.5MB (megabytes). A 1GB card would be able to hold about 220 of these. hope this helps.
Megapixel denotes image resolution, not storage capacity.
About 6-8 photos.
The number of color pictures that can be stored on a 2GB memory card will vary depending on the megapixels and file size of the photo. It can vary between 1430 photos when the photos are 4 MP and have a file size of 1.2 MB to 260 photos when the photos are 22 MP and have a file size of 6.6 MB.
