How many places does the river tees run through?
River Tees, river in northeastern England, rising on Cross Fell in the northern Pennines and flowing 70 miles (110 km) east to the North Sea. It forms the boundary between the historic counties of Yorkshire and Durham. In its upper course the Tees flows in a typical Pennines dale (valley) where high moorlands flank an attenuated strip of farmland. At Caldron Snout and High Force there are waterfalls where the river crosses the hard dolerite outcrop of the Whin Sill. Below Middleton-in-Teesdale the valley broadens, and the river receives important right-bank tributaries-the Lune, the Balder, and the Greta-from subsidiary dales.

the are precisely16 meanders on the river tees mostly in th middle course Possibly correct, never actually counted them (and precisely HOW do you define a meander?) More to th…e point, due to the nature of this river, its course and flow can be altered quite dramatically after a high flood, leaving the river to run a new, different course afterwards ... so the figure is never a constant one!
It has its origin Cottian Alps, Italy and mouth at the Adriatic Sea with basin countries of Italy and Switzerland.

The Rhine starts in Switzerland, flows to the German border, forms the border between Germany and France, flows into Germany, then to the Netherlands, and finally into the Nor…th Sea. So, counting France, that's four. It also borders on Liechtenstein and Austria, so that makes 6. But if you are being pedantic about "run through" and excluding countries it merely borders, then the answer is 3.
Oxford, Reading and London are the three main towns that the Thames runs through.

The best way to count the amount of Oxbow lakes that there will be in the future would be to count the meanders. This is because an oxbow lake is formed when a meander (a bend… in the river) gets so windy that the sides link together. The water will take the shortest route possible and the unused patch of river will dry up. This probably doesn't help much but you should do a bit more research...
