I had my 2005 drained, cleaned and filled yesterday at the dealer. They used 6 quarts. Surprised at the low price for each quart ($4.95) for atf+4 since even online it's more expensive than that. Have 93k on just purchased car w/no history. Service writer recommended not to do pressure flush.
Every 60-70,000 miles with ATF+4 transmission fluid.
About every 70,000 miles.
It does not have a transmission belt.
Fluid needed after filter change is normally about five quarts.
Filter change, about 5 quarts Dry fill, about 9 quarts.
If same engine and transmission model, yes.
How many quarts of transmission fluid is required to change transmission fluid in a 1993 150 Ford Van?
A 2004 Chrysler Town and Country does not have an upper ball joint.
All there is to do is to change the fluid and the filter.
If it is serviced regularly with a fluid and filer change at least every 36,000 miles it should last at least 125,000 miles. Neglect this transmission and it will fail much earlier..
4.5 quarts
You will need about five quarts.
