We have no set number of times each day. We do so as we individually see the need to speak to God, whether it is to thank Him, offer Him praise, make request of Him for some need we have, or whatever. Additional: We pray whenever we need help from Jehovah God, we can go to him whenever is necessary and we try our best to please him. You don't even necessarily have to have your eyes closed to pray, if you are having a heard time with a certain subject that your trying to explain to someone or if your having some type of difficult with being persecuted then all you have to do is say a short prayer to Jehovah and no matter what he will be there for you. One example is if you are very scared about going in the door-to-door ministry as many are, then you simply say a quick prayer for Jehovah's Holy Spirit and he will get you through it.

Matt. 6:9-13: "you must pray, then this way: (1) our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.

(2) let your kingdom come

(3) let your will take place, as in heaven also upon earth

(4) give us today our bread for this day

(5) forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors

(6) do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the wicked one

So as JW we pray in line with the scripture quoted

ANSWER FROM ONE OF Jehovah's Witnesses...

We pray for what ever is needed to be prayed for, Blessings on our preaching work, blessings on our meals, for Jehovah to give us Holy Spirit to help us in what ever way.

We can pray about so many different things, as well as asking Jehovah for things we also thank him for what he has done for us in our life, for the Blessings of the day that we have just had and so forth.

We always pray to Jehovah God as he is the Almighty God but we always pray in the name of his Son Jesus Christ.

Yes. They pray alot. Jehovah's Witnesses pray to our Creator, Jehovah, and always pray through Jesus Christ....or in the name of Jesus Christ...for he said "No one comes to the Father except through me".
They can pray in any location but their services are held in Kingdom Halls.

Yes, Jehovah's Witnesses pray to God.

They use the English translation of God's name as revealed in The Bible in Psalm 83:18, which is Jehovah.

They pray to Him but through the name of Jesus Christ.

Jehovah is the name of the Hebrew and Christian god. He technically doesn't pray.

Jehovah's Witnesses pray to Jehovah. This is done, usually, just before meals. Often entire groups get together with a spiritually strong elder doing the praying for everyone, or prayer can be done individually if circumstances call.

Jehovah's witnesses also try to match the same prayer style outlined in the model prayer.

Luke 11:2-4 states "So he said to them: "Whenever you pray, say: 'Father, let your name be sanctified. Let your Kingdom come. Give us each day our bread according to our daily needs. And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is in debt to us; and do not bring us into temptation.'""

"Our Father in heaven let your name be sanctified." This was placed first and foremost, meaning it was important. Jehovah's witnesses eagerly ask for God's name to be recognized and sanctified.

"Let your kingdom come." Tied in with Daniel 2:44 and Revelation 11:15 {Also 12:9} shows that this kingdom is literal. Jehovah's Witnesses pray for the kingdom to come to earth as it is don't in heaven.

Notice the model prayer saves the requests for last. So to do the witnesses. This is how they pray. some pray often, others not as much. They are asked to pray at least once a day, though not enforced. "To each is his own."

They start a prayer by using the divine name, Jehovah, to address God. Then they would try to pray for appropriate things based on examples and guidelines set by Jesus and his disciples. They would also mention that they are praying through Jesus Christ, or in Jesus' name. They usually do this at the end of the prayer before saying amen.
