Can a floating supervisor participate in the answerthon?
Of course they can... The Answerthons are open to everyone (so long as they're a registered user).

There are lots of internet users in this world. I am sure there are also lots of people who participate in blogs.
How many girls participate in Answers.com?
There is no answer to this question since users are not identified by gender.
How many users participate in the Community Outreach program?
The number of volunteer WikiGuides varies, but currently there are 84 WikiGuides.
Can you be a Special Project Assistant and in the WIT program at the same time?
Yes, you absolutely can. There are many users who participate in both of these programs.
Should prizes be given out by Wikianswers to increase membership?
Yeah! That would be fun!I think there should be different types of prizes though. Like one for women, one for kids, and one for men. That way, people could enter to win the prizes they really want. Wikianswers does hold Answerthons and many other competitions for the users.

Yes. The next one is scheduled for July 21 and 22, 2012.

Generally, AnswerThons are held quarterly - Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. As of today (March 11, 2013), the next AnswerThon (which will be the Spring '13 AnswerThon) will be March 30-31! For more information check the AnswerThon home page!
Are there going to be any more answerthons in 2013 after spring answerthon?
Answerthon is a contest where participants are challenged on a 24 hour answering spree. The most recent one took place between April 20,2013 and ended on April 21, 2013. There are no newly scheduled answerthons at this time.
Who judges the AnswerThons?
The AnswerThon winners are determined purely by numbers - the registered users who answer the most questions in a 48 hour period win the Answerthon prizes (answers must comply with contest guidelines). After the Answers Community staff members review the answers contributed by AnswerThon registrants, the winners are announced.
How do users get so many contributions on WikiAnswers in such short time?
Many users enjoy the process of spreading their knowledge on Answers. After finding categories that they are passionate and/or knowledgeable about, many users find themselves answering questions, re-categorizing, editing, etc. without even realizing how much they're contributing. For example, if you have a favorite movie, book series, sport, travel destination, hobby, etc., there's most likely a category with thousands of questions just waiting to be answered! Or if you're an expert in your field - photography, legal matters, chemistry, etc. - there's a category for that as well! Click on "Q&A categories" on the top bar and check out our thousands of categories.
