2200 watts on mine...
Check the wattage (imprinted on the back of the dryer). If it is 400 Watts, no luck. It has been discontinued according to Helen of Troy consumer service.
About $10. Do the math. Amps x Volts = Watts. A typical dryer is 30 amps @ 240 volts. That's 7200 Watts. Average electricity cost is $.07 per 1000 watt-hours. So...if you run the dryer for one hour ...it will use 7200 watt-hours. 7.2 x $.07 = $.50 per hour of usage.
Ignition 30 watts, fans 30 watts, driving lights 30 watts, headlights 100 watts. Total about 200 watts.

There is no such thing as a 'watt per day'. A watt is an instantaneous measurement of the rate at which you are using energy. To find the 'wattage' of a standard tumble dryer, check its nameplate data.
most hairdryers on low use about 402 watts, and on high about 1440!!!
It depends on the model, if the hair dryer is a 1500 watt hair dryer, then it uses 1500 watts on high heat. If the hair dryer is a 2000 watt hair dryer, then it uses 2000 watts on high heat. Hair dryers come in all different size wattage, so it depends on the size wattage of the dryer. Most hair dryers are 1500 watts.
3000 watts
The Bar Bar Eco-800 hair dryer uses 1,000 watts when most dryers use 1,800 watts. It also dries hair faster that the average dryer does.

Watts equals volts multiplied by amps. This would therefore be a five amp circuit.
A good wattage for a hair dryer is 1000 - 1100 watts. Otherwise, it'll take forever to dry, or you can burn your scalp.
