Germany was having a hard time recovering from WW1, and many people wanted a change, and for their country and economy to be strong again. Hitler promised that, and to a great extent, he delivered. Thus, many people wanted to follow him, even when some laws were passed that they didn't agree with.
I think it is easier to understand if we look at our own countries and the political things that happen. None of us agree with all of them, and some of them we wish we could change, and we definitely don't all know what is going on Behind the Scenes.
