There is no substitue for real garlic. If garlic is unavailable, start with 1/4 tsp and add to taste.
I have a bottle of Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic Seasoning. My bottle lists the ingredients as garlic, onion, chives, parsley and spices. I really wanted to use some of the seasoning to make garlic bread, but I am not sure how much to use per one stick of butter. If anyone has made garlic bread with this seasoning, please let me know how much you used. I want it to taste like garlic bread, but not be too overwhelming with a garlic flavor. Thanks!

That would depend on how the garlic is to be prepared according to the recipe, creamed garlic would be be more potent than whole clove and whole clove would be sweeter. You see garlic strength varies in preparation, the more you crush, the more potency it has. I would say a dime size squeeze would be equivelent to two clove creamed garlic

Cloves come in all sizes so you can't determine. If I read it in a recipe and only had minced garlic I'd used 2 teaspoons.

1 medium garlic clove chopped up makes about 1 teaspoon. But garlic cloves come in many different sizes. If they are small, you'll need 2-3 cloves. If it is a large clove, just use the entire clove. Even if it's a little more than 1 teaspoon, it will still taste good.
