You could take one multi-vitamin a day or one B6 type of vitamin a day and that would be more than enough to see if it will help. Most American diets contain enough vitamin B6 though. And the only way it would ever help Carpal tunnel syndrome is if you were deficient, which is probably unlikely.
Homeopathic believers of this form of treatment have not been able to produce unbiased data or studies to show that it works for carpal tunnel syndrome. There has been one limited study years ago that I know of, where the test subjects were deficient in vitamin B but this was done in Another Country outside of U.S., they were also showing other signs as well, such as other nerve problems and cracked lips etc..
Just be careful and don't take mega doses because it could tax your liver, and give you abdominal and intestinal problems. ************************************************************** Carpal tunnel syndrome is the result of inflammation of the nerve going through the carpal tunnel in the wrist. Moringa Oleifera, naturally containing 36 anti-inflammatories, can provide pain relief. Search on Moringa.

Hi, There are no exercises which cause carpal tunnel syndrome. CTS is caused by an inflammation in the carpal tunnel ( which is made up of the carpal bones in the hand and the flexor retinaculum (a ligament) ). The inflammation can be caused by a number of things, eg. artheritis of the carpal bones, tendonitis or any condition that causes oedema for example, pregnancy. Some of these things will go away on there own, but some may require medical intervention. There are exercises which will induce the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, which is anything that puts pressure on the carpal tunnel for example when you have your hands bent downwards towards your wrists. But this is not the pathological cause of the syndrome Hope this helps Hi, There are no exercises which cause carpal tunnel syndrome. When you have your baby , your body is changing . If you live north, you should try some vitamin D, and Vitamin b-12 complex. This will also help with your energy level.
Long term use of antibiotics decreases the level of vitamin B complex, which is an important vitamin for maintaining healthy nerve cells and production of genetic materials (DNA and RNA). Vitamin B complex can increase the effectiveness of antibiotics and speed up the burning of food to fuel. It is okay to have vitamin B complex along with antibiotics. In some cases, if you are having tetracycline - based antibiotics should avoid the use of B complex because it interferes with absorption and effectiveness of this medication. I'm not sure if you are saying that there is NEW thumb numbness or if you are saying that the thumb numbness you had from your carpal tunnel syndrome condition is still there? If the latter yes it can be normal and it may take several weeks to months but it should gradually improve once that compression on the median nerve has been released. If it's new, then possibly the median nerve still has some swelling and inflammation about the nerve from the surgery itself, and it should improve as your condition improves. The other possibility is that the median nerve was knicked, which is a risk factor for carpal tunnel surgery
Once the problem interferes with daily activity, including sleep, or persists for longer than two weeks, it is important to seek medical advice. This is because the symptoms can become permanent.
If it is persistent, you should seek medical advise. This symptom can be from many causes...from a bruised tendon, pinched nerve in shoulder, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome to as serious as Multiple Sclerosis...and many more other reasons in between.
I had carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. At no time did I find thatmassage was of any particular help. When the symptoms of pain got very pronounces the best thing to do was to simply wiggle the fingers about for a while. immersing the hands in hot then cold water proved to be help full also. keep the hands open whenever possible especially when asleep, you Will sleep longer before being awakened by it. Answer 2: The entire hand should be massaged and stretched focusing on the lower body of the hand, also the wrist and forearm muscles should be massaged and stretched as many of the muscles originate there.
I'm not sure about "causing" it. But it could cure it. My mother was electrocuted by lightning through the pipes of our house (she was in the shower, turning off the water, when it struck) and the shock affected both of her hands. It instantly cured a nearly debilitating case of carpal tunnel syndrome in both of her hands. Obviously, that's not a good way to get this kind of therapy, heh, please do not shower during a thunderstorm. But it seems like a path doctors should explore a bit as it was a non-invasive, painless occurrence.
