Hate to give you a vague answer, but, it depends upon which country, the condition of the stamp, which stamp it is (more than one stamp was issued in 1982), if it's new or used.

Some stamps are worth a bit of money, most aren't worth more than .50 cents.

The price for the first ounce of first class mail in the US went to 20 cents in November of 1981 and remained at that rate until February 1985.

The price of a First Class Stamp in 1980 was 15 cents. It was good for one ounce of First Class Postage. It went up from 13 cents in 1978.
