The violin I am using now was $2,000 when I bought it five years ago and was bought to get me through high school. The cheapest violin I've ever bought was $100. It was my first violin so its tone was not good and it was very hard to tune. To get a good quality violin, it usually cost $1000-$5000. It just kind of depends on whether you're looking for a violin for a beginner, intermediate, or advanced person.
That depends on a wide variety of factors, to include the size and make of the violin, the type and quality of the wood that was used, etc if its ugly then it's cheap and it will cost 1.00

for one day it will cost 3 to 4 thousand
i wouldn't say it's "worse," because price wise it's cheaper than European one. BUT! if you're looking for a violin to last long and sound good (and possibly sell it), i'd go with the European one. you can tell the difference when you play it. when i was looking for a violin, this German violin (which i now have) sounded much better than the Chinese one.
I wish I knew, but I don't. No offense to anybody that thinks so.
