It completely depends on what kinds of foods you buy to eat. If you choose to buy the more expensive items then of course it's going to cost you more. Generally as I rule I think it would be about $100 a month per person in a family of 4 or more. I only spend about $250.00 to $300.00 a month on 4. Three grown adults and one teenager. I do a lot of home made cooking.
