Every patient is different, and every case is different, the cost will depend on several factors including the number of teeth you want to replace, some additional dental procedures and the number of dental implants needed to support your replacement teeth. So the number of appointments, procedures and cost varies accordingly. It's important to look at various options, weighed up the pros and cons and especially the cost. Apart from what others have mentioned remember it's a three step process, and could involve three returns to Mexico.

In case of major dental work, like full mouth makeover, getting abroad is a smart decision. The quality of dental care in Mexico is generally high but, just like in any other countries, it is important to do preliminary research and find a dentist that has been recommended by others and have good reputation.

That is difficult to answer as prices vary from town to town and doctor to doctor. There may be different answers, depending on personal experiences. Maybe other people had a different experience than I. I can only tell you what I tell my clients.

I work with different dentists in Nuevo Progreso, Los Algodones and Cancun, Mexico. Prices for "standard" implants run about $1,500 per tooth, + plate+extraction. All told it could be $1,800. It is not something you want just any dentist to do. There are a lot of regular dentists who saw the dollar signs on implants and proclaimed themselves implantologists. Investigate.

There are different kinds of implants and some can be put in faster than others, but it depends on your mouth. Mini-implants are the newest thing and ones that can be made most rapidly. They run from $1,600 to $2,500 by a reputable dentist. Also you probably need a liner and maybe a plate. Plus you have to factor in the extractions, which are extra.
