The Police Interceptors were rated by Ford at 250 horsepower for pricing reasons, but its actual output is 360 horsepower at the crank (up to 380 for the 2008-2011 models). My dad tells me that all police cars have turbo engines.
250hp
500hp with police interceptor
Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor was created in 1992.
Yes.
215 Horsepower @ 4500RPM, 285ftpds Torque @ 3000RPM
my 94 crown Vic police interceptor with a turbocharger on a 5.4 liter engine and an 8 speed tranny it gets about 575 horsepower
CVI is listed under the vehicle's title otherwise knowned as the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor!
The 1998 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor was rated by Ford at 235 horsepower due to its low MSRP, but its actual output is around 360 (125 horsepower more than Ford's claim). In a 2008, 2009, 2010, or 2011 Police Interceptor, you'd probably be seeing around 380 stock. My dad tells me that all police cars have turbo engines.
Depends. Is it an LX or Interceptor? Interceptor puts out 235, LX about 210.
2inchs
A Vic interceptor has a duel exhaust and a larger air box, while most Vics (except the lx sport) have a single exhaust and a more restrictive air box. So and interceptor has around 25 more horsepower then a stock Vic, that equals around 250 horsepower.
wats the max hp n torque u can get out a cvpi
