Assuming the coin is circulated and has no mintmark, the 1880 Morgan dollar is common. The retail values are $23.00-$33.00 depending on condition. Values are a market average and only for coins in collectible condition, coins that are bent, corroded, scratched, used as jewelery or have been cleaned have far less value if any to a collector or dealer.

$750 retail if well-worn, about $4500 if almost uncirculated. If you actually have such a coin you'll need to have it appraised to make sure it isn't a copy or outright counterfeit, because there are many such pieces. The Far East is a particularly notorious source of counterfeit dollars. The quality ranges from laughably bad to almost undetectably good.
