The answer to that question is based on personal opinion. Laser tag isn't "bad" for kids. Laser tag is meant to be a fun experience and kids like to have fun. As such, laser tag is good for kids if "good" is defined as having fun.
One additional use of lasers in entertainment is that of laser tag. Laser Quest is just one of numerous laser tag companies that are considered to be in the entertainment industry.

There is not an extensive amount of laser tag system brands; therefore, those that do exist are either extremely high quality or not worth your time at all. Some of the high quality names of laser tag systems include LaserMaxx, Zone Laser Tag, and Steradian Technologies. You can visit each of their websites to find out more information on their products and services.
No it won't. Laser pointer simply emit a laser beam whereas laser tag systems use other methods to register tags. The laser in laser tag is for effect. The actual laser doesn't tag the pack.
There answer to that question would have to be based solely on personal opinion. There are two primary places to play laser tag North of Atlanta (in the Duluth are, Gwinnett County). One is Q-zar, the other is Laser Quest. In my opinion, Laser Quest is a much better option. Their facility is much more modern and clean. Their Staff actually interact with Customers and are knowledgeable, they occassionally provide fun games in the lobby area between missions, their equipment is more reliable, you can pick your own codename, the missions are longer, arena is bigger, and the game is more fun.
Yep. They've been closed for a while now. Ultrazone Laser Tag was so much better that they couldn't compete.
No. While Laser Quest owns the company who designed the original equipment, the lasers and packs are not available for purchase by the public. The only way you could "purchase" Laser Quest equipment is to become a frahchisee, and Laser Quest is currently franchising only overseas, and 58 of their 59 North American centers are company-owned.
