I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I'll give it a go. If you mean, "Will my insurance company report an alcohol-related accident to the authorities," the answer is most …likely "no." Most insurance policies will cover you even if you've had thirty-two beers in a three-hour period, because you pay a premium for that coverage. Your insurance company isn't going to narc on you for something like that. Of course, the circumstances of the accident will be reported to your carrier's underwriting department, and you can expect a hefty premium increase. Even if you try to switch carriers to avoid the increase, insurance carriers have ways of communicating with each other and eventually the accident will come to your new carrier's attention. Not having received a DUI citation, however, would definitely be in your favor. At that point, you might as well start taking the bus unless you're making six figures a year to cover your new premiums. Now, if you meant, "I had an alcohol-related accident in another state, and was wondering if it will be reported to the authorities in my state," the answer could be "yes." States have reciprocity laws where they share information with one another. Naturally, that information would find its way into your carrier's hands.
Louisiana Liability Insurance RequirementLouisiana requires liability insurance for the same reason that all other states require it. The law is there to make sure citizens ha…ve a reasonable chance to be reimbursed for damage to their property and or injury and death from the at-fault driver in an accident. One of the requirements that society places on the privilege to operate a motor vehicle on our roads is that you have the ability to pay for the damage you cause in the operation of that vehicle. You make this guarantee by purchasing liability insurance to cover your mistakes.

What is the minimum amount of liability insurance coverage required for small businesses in the state of Florida?
If you are speaking of non-auto liability insurance for your business, the state imposes no requirements. That said, if you lease business space from a third-party, the lease …may prescribe minimum insurance limits, and will generally require that the landlord be named as an additional insured. The amount of non-auto liability insurance that it is prudent to have is another question. It depends upon various factors, not the least of which is whether your business is open to the public (such as a store). If it is not, you will still want liability insurance to cover potential risk exposures relative to the products that you produce or sell. Overall, you have to look to the risk factors attending your business, and assets that you wish to protect. Your best bet is to consult a licensed commercial insurance agent/broker.
