The details are unknown of how much the Duggars are paid for their reality TV show. Other reality TV show participants have been paid anything from nothing to 1 million dollar…s an episode. (Sarah Palin!) A best guess is that the Duggars are paid somewhere in the range of $22,500 to $50,000 - but this is only a guess. Most can be considered "fake". Much of the supposed antagonism and many of the feuds are scripted. The final presentations are heavily edited and show only the material that t…he producers choose to include. Ratings factor heavily in the outcomes.
The details are unknown of how much, if any, they get paid.
Mostly for commercial reasons.
65,000- 93,000 per kid, per show
"The Glee Project" is real.
hardly any, most of it is scripted.
That's why they call it 'reality'...look at past couples like Ryan and trista, they've been married for seven years and have two kids
Reality shows may be becoming too real in that they are exposing viewers to too much of their lives. Many people feel the evolution of reality TV has not been positive.
Between $25,000 and $40,000 per episode.
Sometimes, but because the producers pick who gets to the level we see on television, they control who they out through/who will bring the ratings. Many people with most of th…e talent don't get through.
Income earned by the Hutterite colony featured on the reality show 'American Colony: The Hutterites" is not public information. It is against answers.com policy to publish pe…rsonal, private information for celebrities and non celebrities. Actual income from reality television show appearances varies greatly. Anything from 0 to millions of dollars, it depends on the profile of the featured "performer", advertiser appeal and production costs. Let's hope that whatever the colony received in compensation - it helped them continue to survive.
Auditions for reality television are as varied as the numbers of types of reality shows out there: - Competition type shows generally feature national casting call…s which are promoted in local media (TV, Newspapers, Online) - they travel to major cities and generally follow the same format from one audition to the next (think Survivor, American Idol) - Lifestyle shows - These shows typically have a premis that has already been developed or sold to a network. If network gives go ahead then casting begins. Reality shows have a topic, housewives, pawnbrokers, motorcycle builders, etc. So you don't really audition, if it's a show about hot rod cars and your not involved in that business they won't be interested in you. That's the reality part of the show, the people in the show are what the show advertises, be it housewife, home flipper, etc. In that case, the best thing to do is keep an eye on trade magazines, and internet message boards and clubs that relate to your specialty or hobby. - Traditional casting call notices for general shows are posted on entertainment industry publications and websites, and on production company websites. for these auditions, try to get to know the production companies that are in the business and keep an eye on their announcements and news. See related links for a story about The Reality TV show in New York City. At that class they coach potential reality TV stars on the audition process, and what it takes to be part of reality TV.
Is what real or phony? All reality shows or do you have one in mind. All have drama incorporated in some way, viewers would get bored quickly without it. Some are more pho…ny than others, usually you can tell. If you find yourself saying "no way" alot during a show it probably is a good indicator that in fact it is no way real.
