The dry-sump lubrication system on a Porsche 993 has a capacity of approx. 10.5 quarts.
The average price of a Porsche 993 depends on the condition of the car itself. The Porsche 993 can often range between $130,000 to $180,000 and can often cost several thousand dollars to service.
1993 as a Porsche 993
The first Porsche 993 was produced in late 1993. The main variant, the Carrera, was the first out of the production line; the Targa in 1996, and the Turbo variant in 1995.
No. In general the Carrera S, 4S and turbo are the wide body versions of the 993. Regular 993 Carrera's are slim body cars.
Yes, it is the same car... change only bumpers, mirors and wheels.

Porsche produced 612 993 turbo's for the 1997 model year. I believe 11 of them were finished in speed yellow.

Manufacturer suggests Mobil1 100% synthetic. Synthetic oils have a higher operating temperature the engine will not last if a non synthetic or conventional oil is used because of the high heat especially in the air cooled Porsche engines. Many older Porsche owners say to use a synthetic blend so that the conventional portion of the oil is thought to help keep leaks to a minimum. Mobil1 is my first choice. DO NOT use a cheap domestic oil. Your cars manual should tell you the recommended oils.
