Actually a TIMING CHAIN ( 2006 and newer 4 cylinder Hyundai Sonata )
In a 2006 Hyundai Sonata : The 2.4 litre four cylinder engine has a ( timing CHAIN )
the timing is controlled by the computer so its none adjustable, the only way to change it is to install and aftermarket adjustable cam gear
The water pump on a 2000 Hyundai Sonata is driven by the timing belt.
To adjust the timing on a Hyundai Sonata, you will need to use specialized timing tools. If you do not already own the tools, it may be a better option to take it to a certified Hyundai mechanic.
yes
Timing chains are designed to last the life of the engine.
Timing CHAIN ( 2.4 liter four cylinder and 3.3 liter V6 engines in a 2006 Hyundai Sonata )
Every 60k miles/100k km
4 cyl 2006 sonata has a chain
It must be a timing CHAIN , because the Gates website ( they make timing belts etc . ) does not list a timing belt for the 3.3 liter V6 in a 2006 Hyundai Sonata
