According to the nutrition information label, a 20 oz. bottle of regular Coke contains 75 mg of sodium, witch is the same as salt. There are 1000 mg in a gram, so a 20 oz. bottle of Coke contains 0.075 of a gram of salt.

There isn't a lot of sodium in a Diet Coke. This is a myth. There are only 30 mg of sodium in one Diet Coke which is only a little more than 1% of the daily recommended allowance (2400mg RDA). It would take a WHOLE lot of Diet Coke to do any damage in the sodium department. In comparison, there are 690mg of sodium in a can of V8 juice. The healthy "low sodium" version of V8 has 140mg, almost 5 times the amount in a Diet Coke. Another comparison, there are 890mg of sodium in one can of Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup. While Diet Coke is in no way "healthy" due to the aspertame in it, along with the carbonation and the dye (among other things) the one thing not to worry too much about is the sodium content.
Coca Cola contain approx. 40 mg sodium in a can.
