8x8x4= 256ft²
16 cub ft.
4 x 8 x 6 inch = 4 x 8 x .5 = 16 cu ft soil weighs 100 lbs/cu ft = 1600 pounds 1600/40 = 40 bags
Anderson shelters were 6 ft high and 6.5 x 4 ft in area. Basically 6 sheets of corrugated steel bolted together and meant to be sunk in 3-4 feet into the soil, then covered with soil. They were meant for 4-6 people.
Depends on how deep you want the soil to be... 4" is a pretty good soil depth (in my opinion)... So, converting from cubic yards to cubic feet... 8 cu.yds x 27 ft/cu. yd = 256 cu. ft We'll spread the dirt 4" (0.33') 256 cu.ft/ 0.33 ft = 775.75 sq. ft ============================================================ Hope this helps!!
The domestic use of a 4ft bed is primarily to sleep on. A bed which is 4 ft in length would be comfortable only for children or adults who are quite short. A bed of 4 ft width with a standard 6-7 ft length would be extremely comfortable to sleep in and give plenty of space for moving around in as well.
A Ford F-250 truck weighs about 5,752 lbs. It is a diesel 460 motor extended cab, 4-wheel drive and an 8 ft. bed.
Half a ton at 3 inches deep.
12 in = 1 ft ⇒ 60 ft x 100 ft x 4 in = 60 ft x 100 ft x (1 ÷ 12) ft = 500 cu ft Close, but you left out the 4 in (1/12) above. You had it on the left, but you left it out on the right. That makes the correct answer 2000 cu ft.
Area = pi R2 (R = radius = 1/2 of diameter)For 6-ft diameter, Radius = 3-ft, Area = pi (3)2 = 9 pi = 28.27 sq ft.(28.27/4) = 7.0686At one bag per 4 sq ft, you need 7 whole bags, plus a little bit of the eighth bag.(7 whole bags will cover 28 sq ft = 99.03% of the whole flower bed. Maybe you canget away without opening the 8th bag.)
4 ft
12 inches = 1 footVolume = length x width x depth = 4 x 4 x 1 = 16 cubic feet.That's the same as 0.593 cubic yard (rounded)
it is 5 ft
