Halo 3 cannot be played on a PC, or any other device but an Xbox 360.
It can be installed to the hard drive of an Xbox, but it is strongly recommended you do not as it will drastically increase load times.
none all you need is to have a 360 you dont even need a hard drive but you will want one to download maps and other things off xbox live...

The Halo time period takes place starting in 2498 and ending in March 3 2553.
The Halo: Reach beta will be available May 2010 so long as you own a copy of Halo 3: ODST you will be eligible to take part.It's out. All u have to do is: Put Halo 3 odst's campaigne disk in, from the main menu go to play beta, download the beta, then start it up.

No there isn't, the ODST is just a Helmet there is no body or shoulder to the armor. To get the helmet just play online until you get to the rank of private which can take as little as 4 games.
Its in the building were you have to hold off waves of enemies. Then you take a elevator down.

go to the menu were you can personalize you charter pick on and it is not rookie it will allow you to take it off.
Purchase a copy of Halo 3 ODST and go to Xbox LIVE, you will be sent an invitation to play. (May 3rd) You also need a gold xboxlive membership to play it and when you open up the ODST screen you will see it at the bottom in the thingy when you're about to play. It takes about 20 min.s to download and you always need to have ODST in the xbox to play it.No you dont get sent a invitation sent to u. the beta embedded onto the odst campaign disk! All u have to do is start up halo 3: odst, and from the menu select play beta, then download the beta(it does take about 20min), when it's down start it up.
Follow the main mission then take the exit. Still don't know look up a tutorial.

Halo Reach came out last because of the order in which things played out, Bungie got a contract to make the original 3 Halo's and were also allowed to make a few extra Halo's (ODST and Reach) because 343industries got the contract for halo 4, 5 and 6. ODST was a test to see if players could stand halo without being master chief and it worked so they proceeded to make Halo Reach.
