Worms do not need water in the sense of volume per day to imbibe. Worms have to stay moist, but will actually drown in water. So long as their habitat stays moist, but not wet, they will be fine.
The amount of water a worm needs a day are 2 teaspoon a day and they need water to stay alive because they need to be moist.
