Not very much. In fact, you may actually gain weight. Bulimia usually encourages binge eating or makes you hungrier after you've purged. Studies have shown that purging after a meal only rids you of approximately 30% of the calories you've consumed, even if it seems like you've gotten everything out of your system. Trust me, I know. You'll probably end up consuming in total - you'll eat more before you purge because you anticipate throwing it up later, and you'll probably also eat something afterwards because you'll be hungry. Very seriously - bulimia is a dangerous path. All eating disorders are. The best solution, even if it seems difficult, is to embrace a healthy living. I implore you to please save your health and your body. I wish that I had.
