I had a snake plant for 45 years, and it bloomed twice, with only 1 flower stalk each time. I moved to a different house and the first two years it bloomed. The first time it had 7 stalks and the second year it had 5. I put it outside in the summer (but I always did), but this time it faced south, and there was a porch overhang. We'll see what it does this year, the 3rd year after the move.
