I have seen volunteers as young as 9 years of age. This one was a girl scout who passed out snacks to nursing home residents. It probably depends on their mental age and their ability to follow directions.
Even a three-year-old child could be capable of doing volunteer work if they are treated properly and given close supervision.
There are laws and regulations that must be followed. In some cases it is not possible to put children in areas that are dangerous or have hazardous materials around them.
It's different depending on the hospital, but usually around 14 or 15 years old.
You have to atlest be 14 of age
well it actually depends on the place.....u know some places are real strict
14 years old
how old do you have to be to work at a hospital??
are you for or against voluntary work
absolutely. if you are voluntary you can also leave at any time, they can't stop you. Just go to hospital and request voluntary mental health commitment.
Minimum age of employment is 18 but 16 year old teenagers can do voluntary work.
no. you can do voluntary work at any age. babysitting is even considered volunteering.
I think about 15 or 16. My mother use to work at a hospital and you can volunteer at around 14 years old. But it might be different at any other hospital. I suggest you go to the hospital and ask the volunteer workers:)
It is not a state hospital. It is a voluntary, not for profit community hospital associated with the Liberty HealthCare System. Meadowlands Hospital is sometimes confused with Meadowview Hospital, a state long-term care facility
you cant work at a hospital at 14 cuz you have to be qualified but you can do temp work exp
There was a voluntary firefighter meeting for the people who wanted to volunteer.
It depends on what state you are in and what the state laws are. If you are in California, you have to be 14 to work and have a worker's permit.
