It is a shotgun manufactured by the Remington Co. for Montgomery Ward's between 1957 and 1959. About 1200 were made.
It was made in Westfield, Mass. around 1968. It was the first of these to have a 3" chamber.
The Springfield shotgun made by "Savage Arms" company of Westfield Mass. the Model 67F is a slide action (pump) gun it came in several sizes 410, 16, 12 gauge ect. I purchased mine in about 1963 "new" in 410 gauge chambered with 3" shells On Gunbroker.com one jsut sold for $250.00. I don't know the value but my grandfather was born in 1888 & left one for my dad. He said his best friend gave it to him when his son shot himselft with it. I'm guessing early 1900's. The value in mine is purely sentimental.

As for the age of the shotgun, my father purchased his new, roughly 44 years ago. Although not idectical to the gun in question. His is a 12 gague/dbl/2.75"chamber/FOX Savage Arms USA Westfield Mass Model B/ pat. #3,005,263. I would ceartinaly like to know the value of these firearms as well?
