There is no cure for the bites of blood sucking insects, however there are treatments that can temporarily ease the itching caused by these bites including soaking in Epson salts, making a paste of baking soda and water, or using aloe Vera. If an allergic reaction or illness occurs it is always best to seek medical attention.

You remove the leech from your skin. Then clean the area using soap and water. Then dry the area and apply Polysporin, peroxide or disinfectant to clean area thoroughly. Apply a bandage.

How do you treat or get rid of the leech bite after it has sucked on you and you have removed it. I have several nasty red holes in my leg!

Try vinegar, but make sure that the bite isn't open from scratching first, otherwise the cut will burn because of the vinegar.
