Basically from experience from seeing them at different stages. If they have their eyes closed then they are a few days old. When they are a few weeks old, they are always crying and staring to explore the world around them. If they are climbing up the curtains, bouncing off the walls, and generally bundles of whirling hell with claws, then they are about 4-8 weeks old. If they start looking proportional to an adult cat, but still cute and cuddly, then they are about 2-4 months. At about 6 months they look almost all grown up.
You can have a ball park guess by the teeth and the size. If the kitten still has its milk teeth it is less than 5 months old, kittens have their permanent teeth at 5 to 6 months old. If it has its permanent teeth but is still small, it may be younger than 10 months.
You can tell a kittens age by the bigger they get the age that you can tell.
You can usually tell by it's eye color and teeth, though your best bet would be to ask a vet.
A vet is your wisest choice to determine age. They can examine your cat's teeth and make a fairly accurate estimate within a couple of years.
you take how old they are in human years and multiply it by seven. for example, my cat is 5 in human years and 5 times 7 is 35 so my cat is 35 in cat years!
if thr eyes are open then they are least 2 weeks old
Size and birthdate
Most baby kittens are still babies.
ask it!
Most of the time a vet can tell by their teeth.
Greyson was born in 1997, and the years will obviously go on and on, so through the years, you can tell how old he is by knowing he was born on August 16th, 1997. (:
Have a vet or breeder examine its teeth. They can tell by certain marks that appear at different ages.
a kit. kitten is about 2 months old.
wait how old r u
Yes... You can take an estimated guess. But it'd be hard to make an exact age.
you can touch a kitten when it's a few weeks old.....but do be careful when you're touching it.....i advise you to follow the way the mothercarry them...GOOD LUCK
there are spacial kitten foods.
Yes; it is very unlikely, but any cat can carry rabies. Your kitten may have become infected if his mother became infected before he was born, or if he was bitten by an infected animal after he was born.
A female kitten's vulva is situated close to the anus and the male kitten has a larger gap between the anus and penis. It will be very difficult to accurately tell the sex of a kitten until it is at the very least two weeks old. In males, the testicles do not begin to develop until four to six weeks old.
Yes a kitten grows into a cat when they turn 1 years old. If you feed them and give them fresh water everyday they grow into a healthy grown cat^-^
