A Miele canister vacuum will last 30 years if you follow the proper maintenance procedures. If you change the filters and vacuum bags, then they work great.
Yes a vacuum works very well on tile floors, just set it on the floor setting. I always vacuum my tile floors before I wash or mop them. The vacuum picks up the loose dirt and and hair from the floor, and it makes it much easier to mop and clean.
it is often used to describe an item that has to do with a vacuum and describes how well it can work in a way! it also is used in describing AC units.
The vacuum cleaner uses suction to pick things up off the ground
It's basically a big vacuum cleaner. The gutter brooms bring everything into the middle, and it's sucked up by vacuum.

Yes, the power brakes should work properly provided that the booster, check valve and hoses are in good condition and is getting the correct vacuum flow from the engine. The vacuum canister is a vacuum reservoir for the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) controls.
Yes but you have to keep the filter clear or it won't work at all.
A vacuum cleaner is not the best way to clean hardwood floors so there is no best option. hardwood floor surfaces are best brushed with a fine haired natural fibre sweeping brush, which pushes debris ahead of it while holding it. If a vacuum cleaner may be used to suck up the collected debris once it has been collected into one place, then ANY machine that can suck it up through a tube will do.

Vacuum is created buy the pistons going to the bottom of the stroke and drawing air and fuel into cylinder. there is vacuum lines (rubber tubing) that goes to a canister which stores a vacuum for various systems to use without taking away from engine operation... your friendly neighbor hood Master GM tech
If the floor and defrost vents are both operating and you can't change air flow to any other vents, the dash control unit does not have a vacuum source. This vacuum comes into the cabin from under the hood. Look for a black plastic line coming through the firewall near the blower motor on the passenger side. This line should attach to a vacuum canister. The canister is generally round black plastic. What usually happens is the vacuum hose gets knocked off or the plastic line may break.
Thanks for your reply. Where is the vacuum canister located? Is it easy to change out? You dont have a blower problem. You have a air management problem. The air management controls are vacuum operated and the default position is defrost. You probably have lost vacuum to the dash control unit, possibly due to a broken or pinched line running into the dash, or amybe a leaking vacuum canister. The only way to diagnose is to use a vacuum guage and pump tester to go through the system from beginning to end, and see where your vacuum loss is.
There are many easy-to-find and great vacuum cleaners out there but some of the very best are cleaners like Hoover, Oreck, Dyson, Miele, Aerus, Sebo, and Riccar. Hoovers are the champions though as their machines are able to last a decade and still work very effectively. Dysons have been able to put up those numbers but not as consistently.
