It's difficult to speculate; belief in gods or spirits seems to be "built-in" to people - indeed, superstitious behaviour is seen in many animals and it can be argued that there is no difference between superstition behaviour and religious behaviour. However, in countries with little religious belief (such as the UK), life goes on.
If people did not believe in God, or in any other god:
Although religion has been a divisive force throughout human history, most of that is not because of the religion itself, or the belief in God itself, but the actual human nature of people. For instance, if Christians, actually followed the teachings set out in The Bible, the world would be a much better place. The same can be true for people of many different religions.
It is not the belief in God that is divisive, it is the very nature of humans to be divisive. Greed, power struggles, and superiority complexes have hidden behind religious teachings in order to justify many acts of complete unrighteousness. Take the belief of God away, and you still have greed, power struggles, and superiority complexes that humans will always have.
In today's society, the actual belief in God, to the point of where it actually effects the way you live your life, has declined tremendously. That has not helped the overall global situation, and in fact, the debate could be made that it has made things much worse in the last century.
Nobody has all of the answers to the world's problems. It takes a variety of different perspectives to answer all of the problems. If there were answer's to all of the world's problems, nobody would be in a war or other bad things such as that.
nobody really cares
He created us with different types of talents because if everybody in the world had the same types of talents- nobody would have individuality. Also if everybody was a good singer, there would be nobody to drive the trucks to deliver the food we eat to the stores, there would not be any doctors to help us when we were sick and there would be no-one to enforce the law.
Frederick Douglass had many different beliefs one of his most famous ones were "i would unite with anyone to do right and nobody to do wrong" one of the things he meant as wrong is slavery which he believed was mortally wrong.
It is not possible to say how some ones life would be different had we believed or done something differently.
Joshua certainly would have believed Moses to be an Israelite, but nobody "alleged" that Moses was an Israelite. Moses was an Israelite because of his ancestry and because of his connection to the people and he believed he was an Israelite.
They didn't.
Its good to believe in something because it helps you be a better person and to know your morals. For example; believing in God gives you a purpose in life and to strive to be a better person. If nobody believed in anything, then the world would be in chaos.
how would the world be different with out pocahontas
Then nobody would ask this question. Then nobody would ask this question. Then nobody would ask this question. Then nobody would ask this question.
Yes, if nobody died the world would be crowded.
