Go underneath and make sure your water supply and drain are adequately insulated. -I wrap an electric thermal tape around my incoming water, as well as foam wrap over that, and tape it. Make sure all skirting is secure. Put insulation batts around hot tank, especially on outside wall side. Go on roof and inspect for loose tile or vents. Make sure all rain gutters are secure and down pipes are attached. Inside, if you have any single pane windows, fit a poly insulation kit over them, Inspect exterior doors for tight fit, no drafts.
Consult the manufacturer who built the mobile home. Otherwise you risk making wrong decisions which could ultimately prove extremely costly to you.
You would winterize it every year--draining the pipes, cleaning, clearing brush and whatever else you do to close up the home for a period of time so that it is undamaged upon your return.
Leave the mobile home for a sturdy building or an underground shelter.

Certainly there are several insurance companies that provide coverage for mobile homes in a park or on private property. The key is who owns the mobile home. The owner is the person who would be able to get a policy on the home.
Depends entirely on the condition and location of the mobile home just as it would to a regular house
You would get the best answer to that from your local Government Tenancy dept.
In Washington state, if a home owner dies and leaves his/her mobile home to another and the heir is denied occupancy of the mobile home park, the mobile home will have to be moved. Other options would be to sell the mobile home to persons approved by the park, or to rent to approved persons.
