- No, it's not revenge and you have a right to know. It's possible you were in denial and had to confirm the fact he truly was married or just living with a woman and his wife should know the truth. If you are entertaining any ideas of continuing this relationship you would be wise not to for two reasons #1 he is married and how would you like your boyfriend or husband cheating on you and #2 this guy is playing games with not only his wife, but with you as well which means he is selfish, self centered and doesn't care who he hurts in the process of getting what he wants. He's made fools of both of you!
- I can't see what you mean by "a right to know" - the questioner says that she "found out (he) was married" —> there is no more to know.
As to "his wife has a right to know the truth" - perhaps, but that doesn't give the questioner the 'right' to be the one to tell her.
The wife 'could' be (a) the really guilty party in the marriage-problem(b) fully aware of her husband's infidelities, and accepting of them.
The very fact that the questioner asked the question indicates that a part of her knows that this was probably just revenge. Revenge is a hurt person lashing out in anger, and things we do in anger are seldom wise and rarely justifiable.
