It depends on a lot of things. If your dog was really small like a Shih-tzu or Chihuahua, you probably shouldn't have done that, they might have a little bathroom problem. If it was a Large dog, like a Doberman or Rottweiler i think they will be okay. Always remember that if it is a small bone in the first place you shouldn't give it to a dog or it might choke. Large bones should be okay but take it away when your dog has got all the leftover meat off and all the residue off.
This is a statement not a question
Dog
Food is the direct object. This sentence does not have an indirect object. The D.O. answers the question "the dog ate what?" An indirect object would answer the question "for whom / to whom / for what?" as in "I gave the dog a bone." I gave what? A bone (D.O.) I gave the bone to whom? The dog (I.O.)
That's Great?! ?! ?! ?!?
My dog had this problem once and we gave him a dose of fiber for humans with each meal and after a day things started flowing again.
